The purpose of this web site is to educate the spouses of active duty military personal on the benefits available to them through the federal MYCAA program, administered by Military OneSource. We are Career and Education Consultants with New Horizons who are interested in promoting this program and helping out in any way we can. It is our intent to share this information with as many spouses as we possibly can: Our services range from being education counselors to delivering comprehensive career advancement programs.

Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA)
The Department of Defense (DoD) currently provides financial assistance to military spouses to pay for certifications and education in high growth, high demand portable fields at no cost through the MyCAA program. The DoD will provide $6,000 in financial assistance to military spouses of Active Duty and activated Guard and Reserve service members through Career Advancement Accounts. This program is administered by Military OneSource.
For military spouses who are interested in pursuing such careers, this is a FREE benefit . It is a proven fact that the more training and education job seekers have, the more likely they will be hired into better jobs at higher salaries.
Need help developing your way to a rewarding career? MyCAA can help with:
Ø Training: Eligible military spouses are now able to receive up to $6,000 of MyCAA Financial Assistance (FA) at no cost that can help them pursue education, training, and certifications leading to employment in exciting fields.
Ø Job Readiness: When you PCS, sure 1 of you has a job.. but what will YOU do? The purpose of this program is to make sure your career will transfer wherever you do.
Ø Employment Assistance and Job Placement: We at new Horizons work closely with Spouse Centered organizations that specialize in job placement assistance and have good knowledge of spouse friendly employers.
